Winding down, gearing up
Long day is winding down, everyone else went to bed two hours ago. I’ve been enjoying the solitude and reading “CBD Tarot De Marseille” by Dr. Yoav Ben-Dov. I also have a couple of his other books.
I purchased his restoration of Conver Tarot de Marseille some time back, along with the books, but hadn’t taken the time to read. The deck is still sealed in the box, and while TDM is my preference for style/family of Tarot for readings, I generally stay with my very old Swiss deck, which I’ve had since either the late 1960s or early 70s.
I’m likely going to do a “Deck Interview” with the CBD Tarot de Marseille in the near future. For those unfamiliar with this, it’s where you pull a limited number of cards, asking the, more or less, to introduce itself, tell you its strengths and weaknesses, how it can help you … you, job interview questions.
I don’t always do this with decks, but as I haven’t read from this particular one before, I think maybe I should.

As I have an appointment for a reading tomorrow … ahem, later this morning, I should hie myself to bed as well, so my brain isn’t as fogged as todays was.
Oh, and my Fitbit is lying to me. I walked halfway around the Seattle VA hospital, and then through the parking garage to the south entrance, plus through Harbor Freight, Starbucks, World Market, and according to my lying piece of technology, only did 465 steps.
I call shenanigans!
