I have been interested in the world of Tarot since 1969, when I was exposed to the images of the Tarot through the daytime television program “Dark Shadows”.

Shortly thereafter, obtained my first deck, the somewhat bizarre “Zolar’s Astrological Tarot.” However, I quickly realized its limitations and replaced it with the captivating “Hoi Polloi Tarot,” a variant of the renowned Rider-Waite deck (more accurately Smith-Waite deck, to provide credit to the artist and not the publisher of the deck), along with the 1JJ Muller Swiss deck. While I regrettably lost the Hoi Polloi deck during one of my many relocations, I still possess my cherished Swiss deck, as well as multiple editions of the Albano-Waite decks, which have remained my trusted companions throughout the years, alongside numerous others. More recently, I was able to obtain a replacement of my long-lost Hoi Polloi Tarot as well, which I have brought back into my rotation of decks used in readings.

In recent times, my fascination with older Tarot decks has extended to the captivating Visconti decks, which are among the earliest known decks that can truly be called “Tarot”, and I have acquired several reproductions to explore their rich symbolism.

Paul Huson’s “Dame Fortune’s Wheel” and Rolla Nordic’s Tarot have also proved information and educational in my learning process. It is undeniable that I possess a genuine fondness for the vintage style of Tarot decks.

Over the past 50 years, my collection has grown significantly, and while I cannot provide an exact count of the decks I currently own or have possessed, it has certainly been extensive. Some decks hold a special place in my heart and continue to be a part of my practice, while others I joyfully share as gifts to spread the magic of Tarot.

In addition to my study of Tarot, I have been a student of astrology since the early 1970s and studied divination by runestones and Ogham since the 1980s. I have been ordained Clergy since 1973, and currently hold ordination through the First Nations Church & Ministry and the Universal Life Church (previously through the Georgian Church and Covenant of the Goddess,) I am also an Elder High Priestess of the New England Covens of Traditionalist Witches. In 2022 I received my certification as a Past Life Regression Hypnotist.
